This opening article touches on the incredible. This is much more visionary than I thought at first glance. "Design and Destiny" is an endeavor that has the potential to be chronicled as a paradigm of Christianity in American history, and more. My first thought as I was reading the article was: "What if this was written before the foundation of our country, and was used to guide all aspects of its creation and growth?"

If the original constitutional laws and government created by spiritually-flawed individuals could result in such a magnificent country as the United States of America, what if people with philosophies much less flawed attempted to do the same thing? The result should be incredible.

I think that the following statement, "...is written precisely because the practical use of these definable factors is a useful tool to any culture, group, and societal leader—Christian or not", is a little ingenuous. Truth simply must work for whoever applies it. It is truthfully written as a testimony for those individuals and countries who need the Truth, and the source of our thought will gain reverence as the "Design" produces tangible fruit in the future.

The key to all of this may be to insure that this statement, "...a systematic handbook of national principles applicable to any society or subset of population should be written and read", happens with great diligence. Otherwise, as before, we will lose the battle to those who preach the loudest and most often.
