This cartoon, produced by Harding College in 1948, predicts the results of forfeiting freedom to the government in exchange for protection. The ‘Bible advocate’ understands that true security comes from trusting the God of the Bible, not government. While this video is correct in its assessment of the value of freedom, lets not forget that freedom originates from God. The principles that many today consider “conservative” have their origins in scripture. The not so secret reason for our success as a nation has been indelible influence the Bible has had on our land.

The following video has gone viral on the internet, with millions of viewers outraged.  With stealth and audacity, the UN climate treaty advocates are attempting to drain every last vestige of life from the American Constitution and every last penny from her citizens.  Beware the Copenhagen Treaty!  “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice:  but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” -Proverbs 29:2.

Note:  Apparently, Monckton’s recent appearance on the Glenn Beck program has rallied true American voices.  “Copenhagen” may now have to wait until 2010.  Let us pray, and claim the promises of Scripture,“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying], Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh:  the Lord shall have them in derision.” -Psalm 2:2-4.
