When a three year old terrorizes his mother in a grocery store by screaming at the top of his lungs and throwing food out of the cart, nobody thinks to them self, “That poor kid is just misunderstood. Maybe his mother is oppressing him.” On the contrary, we all become immediate protagonists of responsible parental spanking.
